Become a Caregiving Home

WHAT IT TAKES

The main feature of a Caregiving home to a retired breed champion female is to provide a safe, loving home. Females are expected to have one to two litters depending on the dog.

This entails caring for her as your own.
Providing the necessary veterinary care, proper food,
affection, socialization, and exercise to keep the dog happy and healthy.

Once the dog is bred, for which the breeder will be responsible, she will then return home until about a week to ten days proir to whelping. Once the puppies are weaned at about eight weeks of age the dog will be returned to the caregiver. If this is her final litter, registration papers will be signed over to the caregiver parent who then becomes her legal owner. There are no fees for the female herself.

All females are lead trained, excellent for grooming, socialized and good with other dogs.
